Rivendale Wood is about making rustic, sustainable and interesting products locally from our coppice woodland. Why use boring bamboo stakes from China when you can use rustic hazel stakes made locally?

I bought the hazel garden stakes at Arts in the Garden this year because I loved the colour and texture of the bark. I, like a lot of people, are trying to avoid using plastic and these of course were perfect aesthetically as well as practically. As they were pointed at the end they were easy to push into the ground. A great product I’ll be certainly buying more in the future. My plan is to intertwine my sweet peas and beans next year... Can’t wait …
