Smaller than firewood, but bigger than kindling, starter wood is ideal for keeping your fire going long enough for the bigger stuff to burn properly. Made from dry alder, this wood creates the ideal bridge from kindling to main firewood.
Just add a piece or two once the kindling is burning, so the fire lasts long enough for your main wood to burn properly.
