Better than bamboo and made locally from sustainable and locally sourced coppiced hazel. Hazel bean poles are stronger, more flexible and more durable than bamboo poles of a similar diameter, and vines will hold onto them better because the surface has a rough texture. They look cool too.
Made from coppiced hazel using a traditional billhook and loppers. The end is sharpened to a square point because this allows them to be pushed into the ground easily without bending the tip on stones (if the point was too sharp)
