I am trying to be sustainable and earth-friendly, growing our own food for the table. Using a mix of our own natural compost and biochar from Rivendale Wood has helped bring the garden soil back to life. Our original garden soil was very degraded with little soil life and fertility. Using biochar from Rivendale Wood over the last two growing seasons has had huge benefits in crop size and overall health of all our home grown vegetables. Seems to be less insect damage as well. We also use companion planting
